Pek Sin Choon Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based tea merchant located along Mosque Street in the heart of the Chinatown heritage district.

Founded in 1925, the century-old company has established itself as one of Singapore’s foremost purveyors of premium Chinese tea. Supplying tea to over 80% of Singapore’s Bak Kut Teh market segment, Pek Sin Choon has played an integral role in preserving and shaping this iconic culinary tradition.

In recognition of its enduring commitment to traditional tea craftsmanship and Singapore’s living heritage, Pek Sin Choon has been honoured with the Stewards of Intangible Cultural Heritage Award and the SG Heritage Business Award. These accolades reflect the company’s dedication to safeguarding time-honoured tea blending and roasting techniques while ensuring their continued relevance for future generations.

Today, the company is helmed by fourth-generation descendant and tea master Peh Ching Her, better known as Kenry Peh. Remaining true to its heritage, Pek Sin Choon continues to source, blend and roast tea using traditional methods, with every pack of tea still painstakingly hand-packed in-store—a testament to the craftsmanship and authenticity that have defined the company for nearly a century.
