Tasting Notes: Robust and nutty taste.
Region: Wuyi Mountains
Guazi Jin gets its name from the leaves that are harvested during the season. The outer two leaves show the centre bud as the sprouts begin to open. The leaves resemble the shell of a sunflower seed opening at this stage. The dried leaves have a faint nuttiness, and the tea soup is thick for oolong tea.
