The yellow ‘Yan’ tree’s sprouts are used as a base for processing the tea leaves. The sprout leaves are crinkle on the surface, resembling the head of a dragonfly. The leaves are blended and further torrefied by Pek Sin Choon to produce a tea soup that is golden in colour with a strong aroma.
